The Valerio joined the Arena Sub fleet to accomplish flexible and reliable operation near the cost and in harbours. The boat is made of alluminium material and is pre-arranged to equip devices to perform a varety of sea floor mapping missions along the coast. It is often use with geopositiong and navigation systems to accomplish water or seabed sampling and rov surveys in exact points and routes beeing able to transport up to 10 persons.
Other uses are as diving support boat and enviromental research. The boat is indeed registered in the authority lists for oceanographyc services.
